MOTA update

So, as summer recedes into autumn, MOTA reflects on the past few months… Highlights were Kozfest, where we played a regular set on the Friday afternoon, joined by MOTA friend Mark Robson on didgeridoo for a spaced out “Death By Yoga”, followed by a more low-key set in the Wally’s Space on the Saturday night, as the rain lashed down on the canvas & we set up on the grass, with the audience prostrate on bean bags & cushions – a very intimate, magickal set…

Then Blind Cat festival, where we played the Ambient Friday session on the Jakeland Stage, a beautiful woodland setting where Andy Shackleton’s visuals were utilised to full effect, projecting behind & above us – gorgeous…

And then on to On Board The Craft where the Andys became the Mandys as Mark Le Sueur depped for Andy B….

And so, onto our next gig, a Real Music Club promotion at the Prince Albert, Brighton, where we will be sharing a stage with Kavus Torabi (Cardiacs/Gong/Guapo/Chrome Hoof/Knifeworld) & ZOFFF (with links to Cardiacs/Levitation/Pet Shop Boys). Join us at the seaside Saturday 30th September – ticket details here: http://www.wegottickets.com/event/413796

And after that, some time out to reflect, re-energise, record, write & release…

Over & out…

Quick MOTA update

Well, we had a groovy time away with the Faeries in Kernow, big thanks to the crew at the Floating Lotus for taking care of things so well. We have a new track up on our Bandcamp Page – check it out & download it for as little (or as much…) as you like

Next up for us is Kozfest, Devon – we play the Judge Trev stage on Friday afternoon 2:45 – 3:45pm. We’ll also be doing a more downtempo set in the Wally Tent at some point over the weekend…

We also have a secret gig lined up near Frome on Saturday 5th August – message us for more details…

That’s it for now, keep it Andient!!  :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
